Nexus 3 will be manufactured by HTC same as their first generation, Nexus One and will be called as Nexus + ( Nexus Plus ) and promoted as Google+ Phone for support new Google social networking service. After the release of HTC Status aka Facebook Phone ,so the source of this rumor believe that Google and HTC will think about to released a phone which will work together with their social networking - In below is what's the source said :

Even though anything can be performed at the moment, it is possible to many reasons why we will likely not see Nexus 3 soon

- Google Plus is on earlier step as a new social network service so it's most likely to early to integrate the beta test service into Google Phone
- The Nexus branding is more intended for developer and Google had initially explained the Nexus brand as a phone that will help set the tone of Android hardware improvement while The Google Plus Phone like Nexus 3 may perhaps be designed for users and just only give social networking experience on the go which is a reason to less development in CPU speed and cores, display resolution, memory storage and other technologies.
- As the strength of social networking site is the volume of users, for Google if really want to introduce the Nexus brand as Google Plus Phone, the Google's social network service will surely have to increase the number of active members.
